The government of the United Kingdom has reportedly written to the Federal government inquiring the where about of one of its citizens, Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of the recently proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).  The Press Officer, UK high commission in Nigeria, Joe Abuku, in an interview with Punch, said that the inquiry was sent to ascertain if Kanu who has a British passport, was alive or dead. Recall that family members and lawyer of the secessionist group leader have alleged that he has been missing since his home in Umuahia, Abia state was "invaded" by the Nigerian military.  “We are seeking urgent clarification from the Nigerian authorities about the status and whereabouts of Mr. Kanu, a British-Nigerian man, who has been reported missing since September 14th,” Abuku said. A 23-year-old herdsman identified as Umar Muhammad has been arrested by the police in Kebbi state for allegedly beheading his friend, 22-year-old Mustapha Suleiman, in a dispute over a missing cow. According to reports, the deceased had invited his friend to help him tend to some cows given to him to manage by a relative. He planned to tend to the goats the same relative had given to him. Last week Thursday, Suleiman discovered that Umar had sold one of the cows he left in his care. An argument ensued and Suleiman threatened to report Umar to the owner as this was not the first time he would be carrying out such an act. Umar was angry that his friend threatened to report him and he trailed him to an uncompleted building along Kalgo road where they usually relaxed and attacked him with an axe last Friday, September 22nd.  Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, said that the health status of president Buhari is a private matter and any information regarding it cannot be divulged by anyone even if the state (government) is paying for his medical care. According to him, President Buhari is under no obligation to disclose his health status. Recall that President Buhari returned from the UK in August after a long stay for medical care for an undisclosed ailment. Lai Mohammed had an interview with AFP today where he was asked why the health status of president Buhari has not been made public "It’s not strange at all for a sitting president to be ill and it’s not strange either for the state to take care of his medical bill. A manhunt has begun for the cutists suspected of killing their leader in the Bariga area of Lagos state. The slain leader, popularly known as Major, is said to be behind the initiation of Eiye boys in Shomolu and Bariga areas of the state, New Telegraph reports.  United States Government has said it does not consider the  Indigenous People of Biafra  (IPOB) a terrorist organisation.   The spokesman for the American Embassy in Nigeria,  Russell Brooks,  told Sunday Punch on Friday that the US was committed to Nigeria’s unity and would support a peaceful resolution of any crisis in the country.   He said,  'the United States Government is strongly committed to Nigeria’s unity. Important political and economic issues affecting the Nigerian people, such as the allocation of resources, are worthwhile topics for respectful debate in a democracy. Within the context of unity, we encourage all Nigerians to support a de-escalation of tensions and peaceful resolution of grievances.  Kabiru Idi,  a 15 year old teenager has been arrested by the Niger state Police Command for having sex with a goat.   Idi who lives in Gbeganu area of Bosso Local Government Area of the state was caught having sex with the goat which is said to be one of the animals that roam the neighborhood. Suspecting neighbours reported him to the police operatives attached to Kpakungu Division in Minna who following a tip-off got to Idi’s residence to catch him in the act.
