The government of the United Kingdom has reportedly written to the Federal government inquiring the where about of one of its citizens, Nnamdi Kanu, who is the leader of the recently proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). The Press Officer, UK high commission in Nigeria, Joe Abuku, in an interview with Punch, said that the inquiry was sent to ascertain if Kanu who has a British passport, was alive or dead.
