Baboons / Monkeys Speaking (LOL): Nigeria will break into six republics before 2023 – Uwazuruike

Image
Leader of the Biafra Independence Movement, BIM, and founder of the Movement for Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike yesterday claimed that Nigeria would break into six different republics before 2023. According to him, the present ‘pigeonholed six geo-political zones of the country’, namely South-East, South-South, South-West, North-Central, North-East and North-West, would metamorphose into the six republics, with South-East becoming the long agitated New Biafra, while South-South becomes Niger-Delta Republic, just as South-West and North-Central become Oduduwa and Middle-Belt Republics respectively, leaving North-East and North-West as Arewa Republic. In a statement issued yesterday in Onitsha, Anambra state, shortly after BIM’s Anambra South Zonal meeting held at Uga, Aguata Local Government Area of the state, Uwazuruike who was represented by a member of Biafra Elders–in-council, Mazi Chris Mocha, observed that ...

Armed thugs: Kogi GOVT are desperate to blackmail me – Dino Melaye

Image
Senator Dino Melaye has reacted to allegations by the police that he hired two political thugs and armed them to cause mayhem in Kogi State. The Force Public Relation Officer, Jimoh Moshood on Monday paraded two suspects, who he said were arrested after a gun battle with the police team on the 19th January, 2018. Moshood told journalists at the command headquarters in Lokoja that the two suspects upon interrogation confessed to be working as political thug for Alhaji Mohammed Audu and Senator Dino Melaye. Reacting, Melaye described the allegations as lies and laughable. He accused Kogi State government of being too desperate to blackmail him at any cost. “Fabricated lies by Kogi State Govt and the police will fail. It’s utterly laughable and preposterous. It’s a sign of desperation. “No amount of lies and blackmail will detract my attention from speaking the truth and defending it”, the embattled Senator tweeted. The lawmaker had earli...

Steer Clear Of IPOB – Pro-Biafran Group Warns Nwodo

Image
The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned the Ohaneze Ndigbo leader Chief John Nnia Nwodo to steer clear of its activities or have himself to blame. The group accused the leader of the Igbo apex organisation of misleading the world by tagging it a militant organization, insisting  that he, Nwodo, is the only person carrying out such propaganda. In a statement issued yesterday by the media and publicity secretary of the group, Emma Powerful, titled "those the gods want to destroy, they first make mad", the group maintained that “no leader of any other ethnic socio-political organisation like Arewa Consultative Forum or Afenifere has done to their people what Nnia Nwodo has done and is doing to IPOB in order to please his masters in the North.” The statement partly read, “We have read with shock and disappointment the unedifying utterances of Chief John Nnia Nwodo to the effect that the noble global family of IPOB is an organisation involved in fight...

Buhari MUST declare herdsmen terrorists, And sack IGP Idris for CONSPIRACY– Col Stan Labo

Image

Labo speaking on Channels Tv said this was the only solution to halt killings by herdsmen in some parts of the country, adding that putting herdsmen on watchlist would attract the international community. He said “If we declare killer herders terrorists, it will place them on the watchlist. We can get assistant form international community. “The killer herders have political backing “Already in Benue we have law of close grazing, we expect federal government to give full support and make funds available for both grazing land and growing of fooder “It becomes a win-win situation for both parties. “Enlightenment also has a great role to play in putting an end to herdsmen attack. “Leaders should be responsible and responsive, therefore say things not to divide and entrench general public.” Speaking on the...

Benue killings: Buhari is ''A LIAR'' For deceiving the public that he queried IGP Idris over disobedience_police

Image
The Nigeria Police has reacted to report that President Muhammadu Buhari queried the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris for allegedly not obeying his order. The police said claims by Presidency officials that Buhari had queried Idris as a result of the matter was false. The Police boss met with President Buhari last week. Recall that on his visit to Benue State early last week, President Buhari was told that the IGP flouted his order to relocate to the crisis-rocked state. He was said to have spent one day in the state and jetted out to Nasarawa. Speaking to ThisDay on the matter, Force Public Relations Officer, Jimoh Moshood, said,“The IGP was not queried. “Anybody that said the IGP was queried by the president should bring the copy of the query, let us display it. “There is very clear issue on that, that he was not queried by the President.”

Nigeria Has A President That Doesnot Know Anything’ – Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe

Image
Enyinnaya Abaribe, a senator representing Abia-South Senatorial District of Abia State on Thursday, March 15, 2018, said that Nigeria is currently being led by a president that is never aware of anything happening in the country. Speaking on the floor of the Senate during a debate on the incessant herdsmen attacks, Abaribe said President Buhari’s position of never being aware of what is happening in the country, shows he is not ready to put an end to the herdsmen crisis. I agree with the Senate leader who said this is a moment where we have to work with the executive. The only thing I don’t agree with is, this executive that you want us to work with, have they accepted that they are the people that have responsibility? We have a president that will say I don’t know my IG didn’t even follow my order. A president that says I didn’t even know when this happened. Every little thing he doesn’t know. I’m keeping my contribution to security and the Commander-i...

Some Nigerian leaders take ‘ogogoro / Alcohol' before speaking on public matters – Ex-governor Nyako

Image
Former governor of Adamawa state, Vice Admiral Murtala Nyako (retd), has alleged that some political leaders seem to be drunk with local rum, better known as ‘ogogoro’, before speaking on public matters. According to him, the quality of remarks made on some important national issues does not reflect reasonable sense. Nyako also described the controversial tenure elongation for the party’s national chairman, John Odigie-Oyegun and other states executives, as death sentence for the party if urgent action is not taken to address the illegalities and impunities going on in the party. He spoke in Yola, yesterday, while addressing hundreds of APC supporters at his residence. The former governor said APC has lost moral grounds to speak on due process, rule of law, enforcement of democratic norms and culture. He contended that the only way out of the controversies surrounding the tenure elongation is for a convention to be organised. Nyako said anything outside ...

We  reported that President Muhammadu Buhari last week Wednesday visited families of the 110 schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram insurgents at Government Girls Science and Technical School, Dapchi, on February 19. But the parents have now said that they were not convinced by the president’s words and promise to use military operation to rescue their daughters. Kachalla Bukar, secretary of the forum of parents of abducted Dapchi girls, said only the rescue of the girls could convince them of government’s efforts. He told Sun, “We are not convinced about efforts to rescue our girls because we haven’t seen anything. We haven’t seen much of the military work. “The Buhari that we know is a gentleman. I don’t think he will stand before us and promise to rescue our girls without fu...

BIAFRA: WHY NNAMDI KANU AND IPOB IS FIGHTING FOR SESSESION IN NIGERIA.

Image
Kanu said this in an interview with Al-Jazeera, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Biafran war on Tuesday May 30. Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, says the demand for the secession of Igbos and the entire South-East from Nigeria is because Nigeria is not functioning well and can never function. In a chat at his Father’s house in Umuahia, Abia state, Kanu said “Nothing seems to be working in Nigeria. There is pain and hardship everywhere. What we’re fighting [for] is not self-determination for the sake of it. It’s because Nigeria is not functioning and can never function.” Kanu who was granted bail last month, says he doesn’t care if he is flouting one of the terms for his bail which prohibits him from granting media interviews. “I don’t care. I can’t go outside to call for a press conference. I can’t go on Biafra Radio to broadcast. I can’t allow large [groups of] people to basically congregate outside to see me…it’s like asking ...

Image
Second Republic Senator, Prof. Banji Akintoye, has urged Nigerians to unite and vote President Muhammadu Buhari out of office in 2019. He made the call when he appeared as a guest on Channels Television’s Politics Today, on Frieday. Senator Akintoye also supported the proposition that the Federal Government should declare killer herdsmen across the country as terrorists. According to him, they appeared to be more dangerous than Boko Haram terrorists and therefore, must be stopped before their activities got out of hand. He said: “We can’t have a country in which people feel that they are free to move around, killing people at random and at will. We cannot have a country like that, obviously, these are terrorists and the government owes Nigeria the duty of getting them out of Nigeria. “In any country in the world, people like the killer herdsmen would be terrorists and the government would be acting strongly against them, taking action against them the ...

Buhari sees nothing wrong in herdsmen attacks / killings – Tiv Youths

Image
Some youths from Benue, Nasarawa, and Taraba States under the aegis of the Tiv Youths Organisation (TYO) have accused President Muhammadu Buhari of seeing nothing wrong in the killings that have resulted from the recurrent farmers/herdsmen clashes. President of TYO, Timothy Hembaor, yesterday, maintained that the President’s non-condemnation of the killings and refusal to respond to critical issues raised before him during his recent visit by stakeholders was not good for the country and did not give hope to the victims and their families. According to him, the President’s poor reactions towards the killings was “an indication of his support to the armed herdsmen to kill and take over Benue Valley and indeed every other part of Nigeria blessed with green vegetation.” Hembaor also slammed the lackadaisical attitude of the President on issues raised by Governor Ortom, such as the herdsmen killing of 73 farmers on January 1, this year, another killing of 63 peopl...

Image

BIAFRA: WE MUST FIGHT TO FINISH_IPOB VOWS

Image
William Shakespeare did write  in one of his books " I have gone far, it is better for me to continue than to withdraw". Each time I remember this statement, I draw extra courage and unprecedented motivation to continue fighting for my freedom, which is the restoration of Biafra. Therefore the Indigenous People of Biafra must fight to finish. The Biafra restoration project has gotten to a point where the chaffs are being separated from the wheats; it has gotten to a point where the enemies of Biafra restoration have manifested and shown who they truly are, yet we must not be discouraged because - we must fight to finish. Many of us have been abandoned by our loved ones, family and friends for the sake of this divine project, yet we have not given up because - we must fight to finish. They have mocked us and still mocking us, they have increased that which troubles us, they have multiplied in geometric progression that want us eliminated, even those we started...
