Abuja, Nigeria’s Federal Capital Territory, FCT, was on fire, as the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe Kachikwu, exposed the rot ongoing in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. `
Kachikwu who raised the alarm in a letter written to President Muhammadu, which was obtained by Sahara Reporters, called for the immediate suspension of all appointments made by the NNPC General Manager, Maikanti Baru.

The Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Innoson group of companies, Innocent Chukwuma, has opened up on the warrant of arrest issued against him by Lagos High Court. DAILY POST earlier reported that a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja issued a warrant of arrest on him. However, Chukwuma said the judge who issued his arrest warrant, erred in law, adding that due process ought to have been followed in his arraignment.  Voters in Anambra state go to the polls to elect a new governor this weekend, with security tight after a call from a pro-Biafran group for people to boycott the polls.
