                         HEARTBREAK - CHAPTER ONE

After being dumped by Angela, Desmond turned into a monster, he started disrespecting ladies and never took them for granted... His lifestyle was date, have sex and dump.

But for a 36 year old man, Desmond needed to marry not because he want to but because his mom wants him to. He knew he was never going to respect the woman he will marry because Angela took advantage of his respect, love, time, attention, money, trust, you name it......

Angela and Desmond have been together for 3years and she have been the girl he wanted to marry.....but things changed, she started acting strange, stopped caring, pissed at everything, insulting him and so on...

She wasn't just cheating, she was engaged to another man all this while and eventually got married without Desmond knowing of it....

Angela came that night to Desmond's house, she took a shower and wore a purple night gown, lay on the bed and waited for Desmond to come back.

Desmond came back, went to his room and saw Angela, he wasn't surprised to see her there because she had the spare key to his 5bedroom Duplex, rather he was surprised because she have been avoiding him and wasn't picking his calls..

On seeing Desmond, Angela stood up from the bed, hugged him and gave him the most passionate kiss ever, make up kiss?? No, that was break up kiss...

She laid back to the bed, pulled out her panties and threw it away....Desmond's penis started rising as she was doing all kinds of seductive movement, she spread her legs open and opened the lips of her clitoris to show Desmond the pinkish color of her vagina. Without beating around the bush, Angela told him that she got married  three days ago and she didn't ever love him, he was just a replacement and an option, she said "am sorry Desmond, I got married three days ago and I really love him, I didn't tell you this because am afraid you might do something funny on my wedding, I never really loved you, you were only a replacement because my love travelled and I needed to be with some one, now he is back and married to me, I don't necessarily need a replacement, thanks for your time I have to go now " She stood up, got dressed and left....

All this were the thoughts running through Desmond's mind, remembering how Angela used and dumped him made him think all girls are the same, but what is he going to do now that his mom wants him to get married????.

Yes he have to do his mom's will, Desmond's mother is a cancer patient and has less than three months to live, all her heart desire is to see her last son get married to a good woman. Desmond might have zero chills for women but his mom have been his heart throb.....
    
Desmond walks into his family house, greets his mom and said "babe (yea, he calls his mom babe) I have thought about what you told me and I will get married just to the girl you choose for me" Desmond knew he will never have the time to look at a girl or less of  course he wants to have sex but never for marriage. On hearing about his reply, Desmond's mom was gripped by joy....


Desmond left for his car, while he was driving to work he broke out and started crying, his life is really a mess, his mom is very sick, his 3years relationship was a lie, he is about to marry a girl he knows he will never treat right, but because of his mother, he have to do it right...

Desmond is really not a sex freak, he only has sex anytime he thinks so much about the days spent with evil Angela or when nature calls and that's why he never gets attached to any girls he sleeps with....

After two weeks, Nancy a very homely lady of 24years arrived the city of Lagos, she was picked from the Lagos airport to Desmond's family house, after being welcome by Desmond's mom she was asked to wait for Desmond her husband to be to pick her up, Nancy was excited to meet Desmond but he wasn't excited to meet her, the day passed and Desmond didn't come, the next day passed and he didn't show up, Nancy having no parents didn't know who to call because she have started having mixed feelings, she has only her elder brother who is married and lives in Enugu city...

Mark, Nancy's elder brother is a renowned business man who loves his sister so dearly, he is quite rich and responsible, giving his sister up for marriage was very difficult especially a blind marriage, but being business partners with Desmond's dad made him trust the family and meanwhile Nancy was just going for courtship..

Desmond finally arrives, and Nancy came down to meet her supposed husband to be, his parents were not around and he didn't mention anything about stopping by but nevertheless, he is going home with her "go and get your things, I don't have time to waste " he said to her

She was shocked though, no greeting???? She said in her mind, she went upstairs to the room she was staying and started crying....she wasn't crying because of Desmond (that's too early) she was crying because Desmond's mom told her everything about her sickness and she promised her to be a good person to her son. She remembered her mom who she barely knew and she knows deep down that she will do anything for her mom's happiness if she was alive, but she wasn't and Desmond's mom already started treating her like her daughter so she now have to do everything possible to make her happy.....

She came downstairs struggling with her luggage and Desmond didn't even care to give her a hand, she was struggling with the bags to the car and was delaying him, he couldn't wait anymore so he came and carried the bag.

Driving all the way to Lekki, Desmond didn't say a thing and Nancy has started to wonder what kind of man he is, they arrived his house and he went straight up "show her the room you dressed " Desmond tells his house keeper, Ada.

Ada and Tunde the gate man took her bags upstairs and they have started liking themselves, Nancy asked "your oga no dey talk"?  "Chai leave am o na like that e be" said Tunde.. They were all getting to know themselves, after arranging her things with the help of Tunde and Ada, Nancy thanked them and laid on her bed as they left..... She have started missing her brother and his kids so badly and the thoughts of her not knowing the kind of man she is in the house with made her feel more lonely that she started to cry, Just then, Desmond barged into her room, seeing her in tears didn't even move him, he went straight to her and gave her his phone "my mother wants to speak with you" Nancy on seeing Desmond turned to the other side of the bed and cleaned her eyes, collected the phone and watched Desmond as he leaves leaving the door wild open. After answering the call, she waited for him to come get his phone but he didn't, she have made another promise to her mother in-law, she started crying again and slept off. .

Desmond came up to her room, seeing that the door was wide open just as he Left it surprised him, he called out to her "Nancy" but she didn't turn, he knows at this point that she might be sleeping so he went closer to her, looked around for his phone and saw it right in her hand above her head, he came closer and saw tear line down her cheeks, her lips was just as pink as that of a baby, her noise pointed and her hair very black. Desmond might be a tough person but he has feelings and emotions, he felt bad for Nancy crying but then, he is never giving a girl access to his heart ever again, he collected his phone and left.

Nancy woke up later in the evening, she was bored and hungry so she had to leave her room, but wait.... she is still wearing the Blue Jeans and the yellow toms top she wore since noon, she looked at the mirror and bam! She looks so awful and needed a bath...

After the quick bath, she wore a sweat short and matching singlet with no bra, she was about leaving her room and remembered Desmond's phone, after thorough searching she didn't see the phone and Decided to ask him, she went out of the room and didn't even know which direction to take, she started loitering around wow his house is so beautiful and well arranged, Desmond came out of his room and saw Nancy...God she is gorgeous, the waist, the legs, the hips, the nipples, her fair evenly toned skin... have he started falling for her???.

Nancy didn't know he was looking at her and turned immediately, "Jesus Christ" she screamed, he looked at her and went to the dining without uttering a word. After the brief shock, Ada came and called her "madam food don ready", "Thank God am really starving and please call me Nancy am too young to be called madam"....

Ada led her to the dinning room, it was so arranged and designed with matching ash and black color, her eyes caught Desmond's and they both threw their faces away, she sat on a seat adjacent to his so their eyes will never meet. It was just the two of them in the dinning room, after eating Nancy summoned all the courage in her to ask him, "did you take your phone"? "yes" he replied.....

He stood up and left leaving her there alone, after awhile Ada came in and saw Nancy looking lost, "madam emm I mean, Nancy you don eat finish"?, Yes dear, thank you very much let me help you with the dishes, they both went to the kitchen.... after being through with the kitchen, it's now about 8:49pm so Nancy, Tunde and Ada were outside the main building discussing, they were all laughing and happy...its now around 10pm, Ada and Tunde now wants to go and sleep so Nancy who have slept to her full earlier and isn't feeling sleepy now have to go inside...."goodnight goodnight" they said and parted ways, coming inside is like another world for Nancy but she has to be strong and face her destiny, if that is really her destiny....She met Desmond in the sitting room busy with his laptop, again he didn't notice her or is it that he is pretending not to notice her, she went to her room and forced herself to sleep...

The following Saturday morning, Nancy woke up not feeling alive, Desmond was feeling the same also... Another day with a man that doesn't acknowledge me, were the thoughts going through her mind...

Desmond on the other side had the thoughts of "another day with a girl I will never love, how will I avoid her.....
